Topological Charge of Light Fields with a Polarization Singularity

We have studied diverse vector and hybrid light fields, including those with multiple polarization singularities, derived relationships for singularity indices based on the familiar Berry formula, which is normally utilized to find topological charge of a scalar vortex field. The fields pure polar-angle-dependent in beam cross-section are shown feature either lines outgoing from center or single point at center. radial-variable-dependent no singularities zero index. both polar-angle- points that scattered across cross-section. A field higher-order radial real parameter was also several central singular point, depending value. Notably, different values, index such can take half-integer, integer, values.
